The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is a worldwide ministry dedicated to uniting faith and sports, and the Madera County FCA is a vibrant local chapter contributing to this mission. With the motto "One Global Mission," FCA strives to empower athletes, coaches, and all who are engaged in sports to grow in their faith and influence others positively. This mission is accomplished through various programs, such as sports camps, community service, and team huddles, where participants can share their experiences and faith journeys. By fostering an environment that encourages integrity, teamwork, and excellence, the Madera County FCA aims to inspire individuals to make a difference both on and off the field, contributing to a global network that promotes spiritual growth and community engagement.

JAYSON MORGAN

MADERA SOUTH HIGH SCHOOL

  • WHAT'S NEXT?

I want to go to college, specifically Harvard or any good law school to study law and hopefully become a lawyer/attorney.

  • WHAT SPORT(S) DO YOU PLAY?

I am a Libero/DS in Boys Volleyball program at Madera South.

  • WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE SPORTS MOVIE?

I dont really have a favorite sports film.

  • WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE SCRIPTURE AND WHY?

Luke 19:10- “The Son of Man came to seek and save the lost.” Sometimes when I'm sad or struggling, I read this scripture and it gives me encouragement. It was my dad’s favorite verse and its mine too.

  • WHY IS A REALTIONSHIP WITH CHRIST IMPORTANT IN THE SPORTS WORLD?

Christ is important in sports because he should be at the center of everything. Everything we do should be to the glory of Christ and God. Him being at the center of everything, specifically sports, should cause better sportsmanship, more participation, better attitudes and all around better games.
